Hey guysssss!
Hope your week is going well so far. I can’t believe its Wednsday already…and I can’t believe I actually remembered to make a post this morning! WOO! So this week I’ve actually been sketching quite a bit!! I’ve been working on a commissioned piece for a family friend, and I have been doodling up ideas for Valentines Day cards. I so much enjoyed working on this comissioned piece of a family cottage in Ontario. Drawing all the little details is so meditative for me, and once I start it’s hard for me to put the pencil down.
ANND…Valentines sketches…(OOPS! Sorry about the blurry-ness of the next photo..grr..)
Eventually theses doodles might be prints for Double Dare’s valentines day line coming SOON!! It’s so weird to be thinking so far ahead all the time in terms of holidays, but when you are making greetings cards that’s the way it has to be! Have a great week everyone!
PS-If anyone out there is ever interested I DO take commissions! Just send me an email bryannachapeskie@gmail.com and we can discuss!
Awesome work! Nothing wrong with looking for and planning ahead as long as we don’t let it consume us!
Great work 🙂
Thanks!!
Love the detailing – so intricate – on the cottage. The Valentine cards to be are loverlee. WordPress put your link up on a list of sights I might like – they were right!
Here’s an award for you!!!

Love the cottage sketch; it’s definitely your style. The treatment on the leaves – almost whimsical – is similar to the animals you draw and not to far from those awesome 3D houses you made a while back.
Gorgeous sketches! Lovely detail and colors 🙂
Thanks so much! It was so much fun to work on.
