Hey there! Hope your week is going well! I have been….here and there. This week is kind of a blur actually! I’ve been working, and last night went to a very intense yoga class! It feels so great to do something new, or in this case get back into something and rediscover it! I think September has this kind of renewing power over me. Anyways on Sunday I sat back down at my art desk to try to work some things out. At first I must have sat there for about 30-40 minutes in a pure panic because I had no idea what I was going to do. I knew I had all these interesting ideas floating around my head, but I had no idea how to portray them on a piece of paper. Should I paint? Draw?? Collage? Make a Pop-Up?? I sat there paralyzed and then realized that what I really need to do is just let go of it all and play. I sifted through my supply drawers and found some scraps of coloured paper, and some embroidery floss. I started cutting away using an old sketch for guidance and I was just having fun! I felt alot better to even just be making something! Anything! It’s alot better than just sitting there fretting! So here is what I came up with so far…it still needs some work…
I like it!! 🙂
thank you!
These are great – a lot of fun, plus you found an awesome way to smash a creative block. The style on these are also fun, so do more of them!
thanks Jason! 🙂
