Hello everyone! Hope your weekend is going well! I had an amazing day yesterday!! Our very lovely pals took us for a drive to the beach yesterday afternoon, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for it!! The ocean was FREEZING cold but I still got in…well I kinda had to because I asked Shawn to burry me in sand, and then of course once I got un-burried I was covered in it!! It was a chilly thrill!! After the beach we headed home and cooked some burgers on the bbq and then headed down to the waterfront to check out the tall ships and the fireworks! Here are some pictures from my evening…(PS I LOOOVE fireworks….)
So magical!! If you haven’t gone to check it out yet and you are in or around Halifax go and see! Stay tuned for tomorrows’ featured artist!
What a great series of photos! I’ve never had much success capturing fireworks as well as that with my camera. Will try again 🙂
ya! They are fun to photograph. You have to make sure your shutter speed is set so that the photos can be taken quickly to avoid blur.
I particularly love the shots with the fireworks almost silhouetting the tall ships, just beautiful.
Thank you! It really was a beautiful night!
Love the silhouettes of the tall ships. Great pics 🙂
Wow, fireworks are terrific and captured brilliantly. I love the tall ships and would love to see them again but they don’t come to Newcastle/Gateshead every year. Fantastic pics, as always, so thank you very much for sharing.
I love the sihlouettes of the boats! They look so detailed and intricate in that lighting as opposed to how we view them in the daylight! Great snaps! =)
Thanks! I loved photographing them. All the lines are so wonderful!
Beautiful! I love the night sky images.
