Hey everyone! I’ve been having such a busy and wonderful week! I can’t believe that Friday is here again already!!
This week’s kids craft is so cute! It’s based on a book titled Cloudette by Tom Lichtenheld. The illustrations and story are so adorable! Check it out if you haven’t already!
Basically this project entails creating a one page booklet, painting (or colouring) the background, cutting out some clouds then covering them with cotton batting! Stretched out cotton balls would work well too! Then to make the clouds rain, grab some fishing line, and carefully tape little raindrops (mine are made from blue construction paper), and tape them to the back of your cloud. Take a little strip of heavy weight paper and make a good accordion fold. Glue the accordion to the back of your cloud(s) and let it dry, then glue the other end of the accordion to the sky!! Voila! A little rain cloud!!
I was featured in one of the local papers this week for a group show that is happening at the Argyle Fine Art this week!! I am pretty pumped! 🙂
I hope everyone has a great weekend!!
