Sunday Snaps

We had a bit of a snowstorm here in Halifax on Wednesday afternoon. Walking home I couldn’t stop staring at how beautiful everything looked all covered in ice and snow. The tree branches became very heavy, and touched low, reaching down for help! After supper I went out and took some pictures of the beautiful trees.

It made me sad to think that once all the snow melts there will probably be very few leaves left! I’ve been ogling them for two months, and I never get sick of watching their colours change! I guess I’ll have to find something else to look at on my walks!
Have a great Sunday!

  1. I know, it’s sad when all the colorful leaves go, like a party is over. But these are great pictures, so quiet and haunting. You’ll keep finding beauty into the cool months, I’m sure of it. Yesterday on my walk through the woods I found white winter berries, suspended in mid-air. I took many shots of their tiny galaxy. If I can get my real camera to upload, I’ll post them soon. Take care.
